At the Domaine de La Rhonie it is Serge does the cooking. True to our values of quality and transparency, we buy only fresh produce from our farm and from other carefully selected local producers for their work in their respect of raw materials and expertise. With the breeding activity provided by Vivien –with traditional production techniques - and the transformation of products based on goose and fruit, we are able to guarantee the quality of the food on your plate.
The breakfasts and dinners, concocted and served with great attention honour the agricultural products of our region prepared according to traditional recipes inherited from our forebears. In the warm atmosphere of our hostel beside the fireplace in winter or on the lovely garden terrace in the summer, we invite you to embark on a culinary journey to the heart of the rich Perigord country, that combines balance and fun, tradition and today’s flavours.
Your taste buds will base dance from our goose foie gras with its onion chutney and brioche with nuts, our egg casserole with mushrooms and Black Perigord chestnuts or our breast of grilled goose with mushroom sauce ... to give you an overview of some of the home cooked dishes await you at our table. The restaurant will be happy to welcome you on a half board or full board formula during your stay at the Domaine during a meal on a stopover in our region.
